We have just announced another doubles pickleball tournament in Nashville, which is taking place January 27 to 28 at Maryland Farms. The Maryland Farms Winter Classic will have open divisions for all ages and skill levels and will feature a round robin with five games guaranteed per event. After that, the top eight teams will qualify for a single elimination knockout.
The format
The Women’s Open will take place from 9am to 1pm on the Saturday and will be followed by the Men’s Open from 1pm to 5pm. Then the Mixed Open will then be played from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday. This means players won’t have to wait around all day for their next game.A maximum of 12 teams can enter per event at the Maryland Farms Winter Classic, so make sure you sign up soon to secure your place. Registration will officially close on Wednesday, January 17. “We are excited to be back in Nashville,” Ryan Van Winkle, the co-founder & CEO of Bounce, says. “The first tournament we put on in Music City went so well we had to come back. “The pickleball and tennis community in Nashville keeps growing, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to serve them once again. Our previous tournaments have been sponsored by Deep Eddy, FÜL Beverage and national leaders in the racket sports industry Fromuth, The Dink and Revolin.The Nashville Invitational was the previous pickleball tournament we put on in Nashville, which took place in September at Nolensville High School and was sponsored by the Tennessee Titans.
